How Much Wood Would A Woodchuck Chuck If A Woodchuck Could Chuck Wood? - s/t LP
New trio from Turin plays guitars, bass, tapes and dark voices. Music is pitch black layers of drones and male vocals with crystalline guitar arpeggios and otherworldly female vocals hovering in the acoustic space. Something similar to the most experimental Coil, Current 93 and Death In June. Six tracks slow, distorted, rich in reverbs and low frequencies, suggesting deep and dark landscapes. Comes in total black look, with reversed heavy jackets, printed on the inner side as well.

Horror Vacui - In Darkness You Will Feel Alright LP
Five-piece from Bologna, with members of crust acts like Kontatto, Campus Sterminii, that plays some kind of darkened punk. Eight songs where lyrics range from anti-militaristic activism to mental illness issues, without overlooking personal feelings of disenchantment and frustration. Fans of Lost Tribe and Anasazi will find their European answer here! Comes on violet vinyl with insert with band pics and lyrics.

Born by members of hardcore bands Salvation and Mother Of Mercy, Night Sins is the aural proof that life does not walk so dark all over Europe alone. Bass and drums punch through the mist thick as thieves, guitar lines circle like falcons overhead, minimal synths street clean some of the residual dirt, and singer-songwriter Kyle Kimball's vocals confidently press through an intimate fog. Comes on black vinyl with insert with band pics and lyrics.

Natural Assembly - Arms of Departure 12"mLP
A new dark synth/wave two-piece from London, consisting of J.Cannon & Z.Zsigo. The sound is somehow similar to what our comrades Lust For Youth and Contrepoison offer, still these guys have developed their own version of what we like to call industrial synth-pop, with Arms of Departure being the first major work. Influenced by Front 242 and New Order, pounding drum machines sustain liquid synthesizer melodies and reverberated vocals beat until decay.

White Hex - Heat 12" mLP
White Hex are Jimi Kritzler and Tara Green who got together in their native Australia. The duo takes influence from the Aus graveyard blues tradition, turning it into something new and minimal, perfectly oscillating between drugstore cowboy lush guitars and Tara’s beautifully worn-out voice. The latest venture of Jimi, who's also member of Slug Guts, takes the post-punk of his main outfit’s 2011 album Howlin’ Gang a step further into something thy like to call “tropical goth”.

Lust For Youth - Growing Seeds LP
LFY is now Hannes Norrvide solo project. To celebrate the new season, the filthy patina that used to cloak the band’s previous recordings has gone to leave room to clearer sounds. That’s how you’ll find synth-pop hymns along with noisy industrial tracks and powerful EBM beats. Ten songs to give new life to one of Europe’s most interesting synth/wave bands.

LFY / WAR - The Glass House Etiquette split 7''

Released on tape by Posh Isolation in late 2011, The Glass House Etiquette is the best example of what’s going on in the North-european post-industrial underworld. Two murky bands, one song each filled with damaged synthesizers, gaunt and heavy beats, vocals like spirits haunting an empty room.

Funk Police - Hot We Are Funk We Play LP
One more masterpiece outta France. The typical no-wave fury of La Grande Triple Alliance Internationale De l'Est gets over some smoky dark funk grooves. Like Pop Group, Gang Of Four or PiL, Funk Police steals black rhythms from an hypothetical rainforest and hurl them into their concrete jungle. Throbbing bass, sharp upbeat guitars and schizoid vocals over the haunting tribal drums. Ten damp tracks on black vinyl with stunning artwork!

Dream Affair - Endless Days LP/CD
NY cold wave group's debut album perfects the conflict and balance between bleak indifference and struggling emotions. Romanticism in the vocals and guitars are vetted against the industrial chill of the rhythm section. The result is a testament of self-awareness, absurdity, and isolation.

Lust For Youth - Solar Flare LP/CD
After one 7-inch split with Blessure Grave and an bunch of tapes, this swedish two-piece gets its first full-length out. 12 tracks like a never-ending flow, blending industrial murky noise, dark-wave atmospheres and lo-fi synth pop catchy melodies, all drenched in reverberation and beaten by distant vocal chants.

Contrepoison - ...Until Next Morning 12''EP

The brand new project by Pierre-Marc Tremblay. After a few tapes, this 4-track EP shows the darkest and most anguished side of the human feeling, where drum machines sound like heartbeats and synthesizers are as liquid as tears. Deep, somber vocals filled with sorrow and anger cap it all. A killer debut!

Krysmopompas - Gesa 7''

After their great double album on S-S, two darker and slower tracks without drums, only an analogue Casio beat to create a real cold-war feeling.

MAILORDER:

DVA Damas - Nightshade LP+CD (Downwards America) 16,90€
Debut full-length from the LA-based act , follow up that killer 10" on Downwards' DO series with swaggering songs for serial killers and rogue souls. Nightshade blends the same traces of Morricone's western themes often adopted by Monte Cazazza, with a stripped down goth-dub approach and the kind of noirish, druggy '50s intrigue felt in Lynch classics, resulting a sinister, creepy and hip-driving sorta sawdust-and-shots backwater bar vibe. It's a ghoulish and sexy sound. Comes with free CD edition included!

Scorpion Violente - The Rapist LP (Teenage Menopause) 13,50€

Brand new LP for our minimal synth punk madness heroes from France. Five new, long, obnoxious cuts including a bad ass cover of the classic garage stomper Strychnine (trying to stay away from the obvious comparison to Suicide, but yeah...). Were you asking yourself how Elvis on methadone would sound like? These grooves have your answer within! Cheapest price you’ll find around too!

Black Bug - Reflecting the Light LP (XVIII) 14€

After debuting this band with their very first single back in 2008, the Black Bug had their first LP in 2010 on FDH Records and a bunch of 7"s on various labels (BoomChick, Hozac, among others). Eighteen Records is now proud to bring you this 2nd album. Relocated in Bordeaux, France and with some line-up changes, Black Bug delivers 11 tracks of the brutal synth-punk they're known for. A must-have!

The Feeling Of Love - Reward Your Grace LP (Born Bad) 13€
Since its beginning, TFOL evolved from a one-man-band playing minimal and nihilistic garage blues with a no wave borrowing, to a trio still in the garage vibe but with more complexity and strong kraut and psych influences. With this new LP, even if the songs keep their psychedelic and melancholic garage essence, the band rethinks their music by exploring shoegaze and pop territories. One much more lightful record, more complete but never steady. Something between psych pop ballads and long soundtracks of trance disturbed by sonic blasts.

The Feeling Of Love - La Peur Est Une Illusion: Singles 2006-2008 LP (La Face Cachée) 14€
Compilation of the early 7"s & unreleased tracks. Brainchild of Frenchman Guillaume Marietta, the three-piece have become known thanks to their brand of schizoid-devil-synth-blues awash in a sonic pastiche of late 80s Jon Spencer, White Light/White Heat and Sonic Youth. Equally as known for their ridiculous song titles (I Am Nothing But A Drunk Pussy, I Hate All Bands, The Right Bitch At The Right Place) as they are for their remarkable live performances. A savage best-of!

Movie Star Junkies - Son of The Dust LP+CD (Wild Honey) 13€
After their two acclaimed LPs on Voodoo Rhythm, a bunch of singles and EPs, the quintet from Torino presents their third album. Its clear how the band has attempted to offer something new and evolved. The sound is pretty far from the chaotic vehemence of their early works, it has more in common with the intense, touching atmospheres of songwriters like Nick Cave, Neil Young and Leonard Cohen. A long tale in William Faulkner‘s style in ten songs, a long journey where ancestral rites and religious superstitions take place. Comes with free CD and insert!

Crash Normal - Your Body Got a Land LP (Born Bad) 12

Paris’ Crash Normal are somewhere between garage-punk and electro trash. These guys drop the sound of rusty nails and hit the audience like rain. Echos and reverbs fight, the drum machine gets killed by the fuzz pedal. No bass player. Only two guitars to fill the space left in the room. A great comeback!
    Plastobeton/Glu - s/t split LP (Pouet! Schallplatten) 12,90€

Split LP between Plastobeton and Glu. Members of the Great Eastern Triple Alliance, along with The Feeling of Love, AH Kraken, The Dreams, Scorpion Violente etc. Two French bands playing twisted minimal synth stuff, aggressive and paranoid at once! Metz strikes hard once again!

Destination Lonely - Kiss or Kicks LP (Les Disques Steak) 13€

Destination Lonely is a new all-star garage band from France. First LP features great Stooges guitars with french accent and nice melodies. Six solid tunes from the raw Kiss Or Kicks opening tune to the great melodies of So Blue or I'm Down. The boys are back in town. One left!

Father Murphy Viewed By Various - Anyway, Your Children Will Deny It, 8 Heretical Views LP (Aagoo) 13
All the tracks from 2012's album are worked over. The original is offered a plethora of possible new views from musicians selected by the band, whose remixes come in the same track sequence. The remixes here present a myriad of ways to re-interpret Father Murphy's cheerfully neurotic noise, and become true counterparts to the originals. There is less noise, less rock music and in a sense this turns out to be a logical progression. The result is pretty fabulous.

Father Murphy Viewed By Indian Jewelry / Philippe PetitTwo Views 7” (Aagoo) 5€

With the darkly celestial sounds of Father Murphy’s spring 2012 album Anyway, Your Children Will Deny It still fresh in our minds, Aagoo put 10 of the Italian psychedelic pop trio’s songs into the hands of some great experimental artists. This 7” features Indian Jewelry’s reworking of His Face Showed No Distortions, and Philippe Petit’s mix of Diggin the Bottom of the Hollow.

Father Murphy - Orsanti They called Them Cs (Yerevan Tapes) 5€

One of the best bands in worldwide esoteric/experimental/industrial rock scenario coming back with one exclusive release for Yerevan Tapes. Using cut-up as an ideal pop song influence, the resulting music is a possible future path for Fr. Murphy. Comes on one-sided tape with with photographic insert and usual esotic artwork by S. Anhayt. A limited edition of 100.

FeuerbahnThe Fire Dance Cs (Aufnahme + Wiedergabe) 5€

Fantastic noisy lo-fi post punk from some misty, foggy place in Europe. You pick up a lot of things in this EP: some drone, power electronics, black metal, coldwave, etc. Very bleak stuff, and if you’re into the likes of Circle Of Ouroborus, Ättestupa, Robedoor etc... then highly recommended too! Limited edition of 100 handnumbered copies, includes download code.

Eternal Zio - s/t LP (Boring Machines) 12€

Eternal Zio is a quartet from Milano, Italy, whose debut full-length album now follows the Vibbria CD-R from 2011. These six untitled pieces vary from meditative strumming & humming to explosions of crazyness. Eternal Zio brings music back to its roots, a tribute to the gods, we don’t know which ones. Out on Boring Machines & Black Sweat. Limited to 250 copies.

Ensemble Economique / Heroin In Tahiti - No Highway/Black Vacation split LP (Sound Of Cobra, No=Fi) 13€
Ensemble Economique strikes back with a great album, sounds and attitude head back to his earlier recordings and the amazing Psychical on NNF in 2010. Immediate, primal, raw: ace! Heroin In Tahiti get their second album out, after the debut LP Death Surf, which was considered a sort of manifesto of the 'spaghetti wasteland' attitude, and listed in the 50 best albums of 2012 by FACT Magazine. A great mix of synths, surf, drone, Morricone and some typical 'Italian vibe'.

Billy Bao - Buildings From Bilbao LP (Burka ForEverybody) 15€
Billy Bao’s fourth album carries with it a genuine threat of mobilization, of anger. Recorded 40 years after Funhouse and taking its cues from such album, song titles, listed song lengths, Buildings From Bilbao is a guided tour through the San Francisco area of the bands home city. Like Richard Linklater’s debut film Slacker where the camera follows a variety of souls around Austin, Texas for a single day, catching snippets, clearly showing a love for the city, this record does that for the bands own neighbourhood.

The Great Saunites - The Ivy LP (Lemming) 13€
The Great Saunites are an Italian duo comprised of Leonard Kandur Layola (drums, effects, guitar, keyboards) and Atros (bass, keyboards, guitar, vocals) and since 2008 they have released three albums. They harness hypnotic drumming along with heavy bass vibrations and spaced out samples, and all elements contribute to create a dark mix of kraut and heavy rock. A mighty collision of textures and themes in the name of Sabbath. 300 copies with download code. Coproduced with many other fine labels.

Ancient Ocean / Expo 70 - s/t split LP (Sound Of Cobra, No=Fi) 12€
Ancient Ocean impresses with his sublime grasp of pacing and nocturnal lighting. He distills vapourous pads with throat singing and lonely log cabin guitar, picking out baroque melodies and psych jangles with a sense of narration leading us across desolate plateaus to a magickal resting place of liquified bass subduction. Expo 70 is a more tumultuous prospect, documenting a dialogue with his Moog Realistic and OPUS-3. Tranquil tones in the upper register are kept tense by bass shapes, opening a vacuum which sucks into its black hole core.

Föllakzoid - II LP (Sacred Bones) 15€

Föllakzoid began in Santiago, Chile as the result of the meeting of multi-faceted artists. This album shows the band growing an enormous amount as songwriters, focusing on more developed songs and structures. Throughout these five songs, Föllakzoid craft one of the finest kraut-rock record in years. Let them take you on a serpentine journey through their mystical Chilean land.

The Men - New Moon LP (Sacred Bones) 15€
With their fourth full-length, The Men proudly present their most intensely personal and immersive installment yet. Over the last two, they’ve gradually grown more melodic and accessible without losing the primal scrape of their early music, and on first listen, New Moon seems to continue the progressions. This album is much more about a traditional, classic sense of rock and roll than its predecessor and it shouldn’t be difficult to recognize The Men as one of the most sincere and rewarding rock bands in recent memory.

Psychic Ills - One Track Mind LP (Sacred Bones) 16€
When it comes to following the beat of their own drum, New York’s Psychic Ills have exemplified the phrase since their beginnings in 2003. This is their fourth full-length and it features collaborations with and some production by Neil Michael Hagerty of Royal Trux/The Howling Hex and artwork by former 13th Floor Elevators songwriter and artist Powell St. John. One Track Mind is perhaps the most straight-forward rock record the Ills have ever made. The drum keeps beating and they keep following it. LAST COPY.

Lust For Youth - Chasing the Light 12" (Sacred Bones) 12€
Swedish producer Hannes Norrvide has been inconspicuously hinting at his brighter side throughout his last couple of releases. What began as a lo-fi, atonal, bedroom synth drone project in 2009 has slowly but surely been evolving into a full frontal synth-pop assault. Chasing the Light is his most sun-drenched optimistic work to date; and the results are stunning. The remix on side A is from NY producer and Four Tet collaborator Anthony Naples. Side B features a club edit of Saluting Rome which features additional percussion from Kristian Emdal (also of Vår).

Lust for Youth - Growing Seeds CD (Other Voices) 10,90€

Russian CD press of LFY best work so far. Features all the track from original vinyl edition we put out, plus three previously unreleased bonus tracks exclusive this release, NOT there on the Sacred Bones CD edition. If CD is still your medium, you cannot miss this great album now!

·Y· - Horizonte De Sucesos LP (Burka For Everybody) 13€

Minimal electronic duo based in Barcelona inspired by the dark sounds of cold wave, post punk and classic soundtracks as well as the early wave of 80s industrial music. We really can't recommend this LP enough to anyone with even the most passing interest in minimal synth, early industrial, synth punk, cold wave or any other of the synthetic arts. Comes in a lovely thick handscreened sleeve.

Robedoor - Primal Sphere LP (Hands In The Dark) 14,90€
Follow-up to Too Down To Die sounds very much like an intentional regression from the future, ripping up rock roots in order to regain a grip on the ragged sound of drone. A crafty album that could be a significant new cornerstone in the band’s career, with the absence of a drummer allowing to head in a new and orginal direction. Robedoor continue their unstoppable upwards progress with yet another superb, pulsating album, broadening the realm of modern psychedelia. 400 copies on clear wax w/ free mp3 download.

RobedoorToo Down To Die LP (Not Not Fun) 12,90€

A return to more psychedelic dronescapes, but not without change: the production levels are crisper and cleaner. A thick drifting morass of psychedelia of the modern kind. The perfect album for a Saturday night Apocalypse, and one of Robedoor's finest moments. Only one copy left, act now!

SGNLS - s/t LP (Blind Prophet) 15€

Finally a proper synth punk band! Philly’s SGNLS follow in the tradition of bands like The Units. Live they are capable of synth heavy freakouts not dissimilar from Hawkwind or Heldon, whereas on record they reel it in a bit and show us some real solid songs that should appeal to fans of everything ranging from The Screamers to The Big Boys. Limited to 200 copies, comes with a fold out poster.

YOU. - Brick LP (Blind Prophet) 15€
Brick is the brand new LP from Brooklyn’s YOU. It’s also the final bedroom recording album. Recorded in the winter 2010-2011, it serves as a fitting epitaph to this era of the band and contains some of their finest recordings to date. This is absolutely top shelf minimal synth/electro that even includes a Negative Approach cover for all the punks out there. Strictly limited to 200, each record comes with a unique found photograph on the back cover with scenes from Detroit’s past.

Future Blondes - Feather 17 LP (Blind Prophet) 15€

Feather 17 is the first proper full-length vinyl album from Houston’s Future Blondes. Mastermind Domokos serves up another heavy batch of mutated white-light techno/industrial with contributions from members of Book Of Shadows, //Tense//, Balaclavas, Twisted Wiress and Synb. Pressed on milky white vinyl and comes with a digital download.

Mueran Humanos - El Circulo/La Langosta 12" (Vanity Case) 12,90€
The new 12" of the sexy and shamanic Mueran Humanos. After their aclaimed 2011 debut album, come these two long songs showing their hypnotic powers in full form. Their music is made up of dual vocals, synth, bass guitar, tapes, drum machines and effects, brought together in to a brooding, dark, sex magical kind of electronic psychedelia. Recorded at Einstürzende Neubauten’s studio by Boris Wilsdorf, it has some real power behind it and loads of passion in the incantational vocals. This is a very special piece.

Pa Tronic - Ute Vift LP (Anna Logue) 14,90€
PA Tronic were active between 1983 and 1985, in Uppsala, Sweden, while in their youngest teenage years, influenced by the electronic pop heroes of the time Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, The Twins, Heaven 17. They had quite a bit of hits and this album compiles all rescued recordings from 1983/84 plus adding two new recordings from 2011 to the track list. In 2010 they also reformed in order to finally fulfill their dream of recording a proper album. Nothing more to say then but fill your head with PA Tronic!

Twins Natalia / Poeme Electronique - I Avoid Strangers/I Wouldn't Change Me For Anyone 12" (Anna Logue) 12,90€
While Twins Natalia are giving their debut album the final touch, they hpresent this powerful upbeat dance floor killer in an almost epic 8,5 mins special extended night version. On the AA side, Poeme Electronique, after 25 years, are back! They present like a sister track to their 1982 classic The Echoes Fade. Also come in one of the most beautiful artwork so far with additional posters and postcards. ONLY ONE LEFT!

The Silicon Scientist Inselwinter CD (Anna Logue) 9,90€

First six-track album recorded back in 2002/03. One 60-min fully electronic instrumental concept album, a rather quiet and non-pompous album, inviting you to journey with your friend Old Man Winter. This also features some extra bonus tracks thus making the CD version a 78,5 mins journey. Comes in minimal yet elegant pocket slipcase. Only two copies left here, don’t sleep on this.

The Silicon Scientist - Sinister Street/Sights 7" (Anna Logue) 7€

Stefan Bornhorst is finally back and gives us a first peek into what is to become the third The Silicon Scientist album: a bit more minimal and pop oriented. Sinister Street is actually taken from the album but presented as an exclusive single mix while Sights on the flip-side is absolutely exclusive to this 7" vinyl. Being a limited edition, please grab your copy while you can!

Spettro Family - The Tunnel 7" (Edition Gris) 5,50€
The follow-up to the much acclaimed mini-album La Famiglia Spettro. With these two tracks the mastermind behind this mysterious Project once again demonstrates his very own and unique sense for creating haunting soundscapes with a twist of melancholy. Produced and played only on analogue equipment, The Tunnel and Chi-Omega sound like slowed down ritualistic versions of some obscure 80s movie soundtrack. A beautiful nightmare captured on seven inches of vinyl.

Stress - The Big Wheel CD (Other Voices) 12,90€
Formed in 1981 as a two piece, by early 1984 they had released two cassette albums and featured in numerous compilations. June/July 1985 saw the release of the first and only 12”, a 6 track mini-album on Alan Rider's Adventures In Reality Recordings label. In their music, Stress combines electronic rythms, sequences, keyboards with bass guitar, vocals, percussion, cut-up tapes, and a variety of acoustic instruments to provide a sound that fuses pop & experimental elements with a pointed lyrical edge. Now 27 years later comes this reissue with many bonus tracks from the era.

Mushy - Breathless LP (Mannequin) 12,90€
Italian ice-wave princess gives up the delectable synth romance, and her 2nd full-length is a genuine must-have for fans of Tropic Of Cancer, A.C. Marias, the Cocteaus, etc. Entirely realised, sung and produced by the artiste, it blends a darker Italo elan akin to our personal faves Fockewulf 190 with the finest traces of what came out of the Dome studio circa 1982, marrying efficiently minimal, body-wise motion with heart-aching melody and most of all, that voice. Recommended!

Tropic Of Cancer - Permissions Of Love 12" (Mannequin) 12,90€

Camella Lobo's cultish Tropic Of Cancer make a very welcome return with an exquisite 12”. Their flawless formula of starched drum machine, plangent jangle and wrist-slitting synth romance is resolutely unchanged and that's completely fine by us. This is easily one of the finest artefacts from the whole modern minimal wave/bleak post-punk scene that you'll likely hear this year. Second press on white vinyl. LAST COPY, get yours now.

UV Pop - No Songs Tomorrow LP (Mannequin) 12,90€

Mannequin and Sacred Bones join their forces to offer one of the best UK New Wave reissue from the 80's. UV PØP were an early post-punk group from the South Yorkshire region of England. Their sound was regionally bleak and they used staccato, angular guitars lines, with vocals ranged from spoken repeated mantras to whispered and shouted political poetics. Reissue of their classic 1981 album! LAST COPY

Burial Hex ‎– Six Wings 12" (Nostilevo) 15
Latest 12” by Clay Ruby. Side A begins with a grinding oscillation, whilst simultaneously utilizing an immensely large, low-end crumbling sound. As the record travels, the atmosphere turns into a suffocatingly bleak piece of droning industrial electronics. While Side B begins familiarly, it quickly courses to a wavelength of torturous acceptance; organics throned in minimal space mold a subtle path through its remainder. A monumental 45rpm experience in kraft sleeve, with paste-on covers. Hand-numbered 222 copies.

V/A - The Thing From The Crypt LP (Dark Entries) 16€

Smersh  - Cassette Pets  2LP (Dark Entries) 23€
This duo started writing music together in the late 1970s and by 1981 they had already produced countless recordings and began releasing cassettes. Their sound is a lush hybrid of techno, industrial, dance, and experimental with so many faces it doesn’t fall into any one category. Here 17 songs have been selected, featuring some of the many highlights from Smersh’s vast discography, spanning 1981-1994. Remastered from the cassette originals, comes in a deluxe gatefold jacket with original drawings, lyrics and photos. First time on vinyl format!

Best ET comp so far. Recommended!

Línea Vienesa - Remando en el Volga LP (Domestica) 18
This was the first Spanish group out of the commercial circuits which all the national written press echoed. What is amazing in Línea Vienesa is, in the first place, how clear they have their purpose. The work done and the drum machine have had good results, the compositions have a strange consistency and they are able to lead everything to the best port. 250 copies edition containing 10 pages handmade fanzine + 2 postcards. Really nice gem . VERY FEW COPIES!

Kinit Her - The Cavern Stanzas 12" (Reue Um Reue)  22€
Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Kinit Her have been journeying together since 2006. Essentially improvised, The Cavern Stanzas call to us from the heart of a holy mountain, resounding with tribal percussion, mystic chants and deep incantations. The enthralling melange of vinyl loops, organic sounds and acoustic instrumentation calls to mind the hallucinogenic fumes of a shamanic ritual. Comes on dark-orange marbled vinyl, in special fold-out sleeve. Lmtd edition of 200. Grab one while you can!

Sangre De Muerdago - s/t LP (Iconoclast) 13€
The brainchild of Pablo (previously in crust bands as Ekkaia, Leadershit and now drummer in Ursus), born from the need to abandon the civilized world and rediscover the sounds of his lands, whose origins are lost in the past of the Celtic culture. Echoes of some nordic folk (impossible not to refer to Ulver’s Kveldssanger) blended with Galician music come out from these nine songs. Many traditional instruments join the classical guitar and the twelve-string guitar, sealing the runic power hidden on the trees of those lands. Comes in gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeve!

In Gowan RingThe Glinting Spade LP (Merlins Nose) 22,90
In Gowan Ring is the American musician Bobin Eirth aka B'ee. Next to the folk traditions of the western world, he studied different music from many cultures to explore similarities and differences and to make it all become part of his vision. The Glinting Spade was awakened between 1997 and 1999 during a period of complete isolation. No big surprise that this music is a rather intimate affair. B'ee adds fresh inspiration to the tradition of the ancestors of psychedelic folk and songwriters of the 60s and 70s like Donovan, Perry Leopold, Nick Drake or Exuma. This deluxe edition in heavy gatefold sleeve is a blessing!

Wreathes - s/t LP (Pesanta Urfolk) 15€

Utterly outstanding, and potentially the best thing to happen to American Neofolk in years. Featuring members of Kinit Her and Burial Hex, Wreathes has produced an outstanding, beautiful and incredibly intricate release. Pressed on 200g black vinyl, comes in metallic spot-printing on both the inside and outside of the gatefold, metallic spot printed labels, fully printed inner-sleeve and inner pocket. Record of the year 2o12.

Cult of Youth - Love Will Prevail LP (Sacred Bones) 10€
This third album sees the marriage of the spontaneity of the earlier releases with the better recording quality of the more recent eponymous LP. It expands on the psychedelic neofolk foundation of the early work and adds lush atmospheres not dissimilar from Austrian post- industrial futurists Nový Svět. There is also an intentional nod to the Crass Records bands that influenced Ragon as a teenager and a tasteful hint of Velvet Underground worship. Low price due to one slightly bent corner on the pic sleeve.

Circle Of Ouroborus - Abrahadabra LP (Kuunpalvelus) 16€

Newest full length from the Finnish duo recorded around the same time as Eleven Fingers and The Lost Entrance of the Just so you can expect a murky production, mournful howling vocals, astral/existential/contemplative lyrics and dream-like guitar tones through listless riffs and structures. You have six tracks to get lost in here, and - believe me - you don’t really wanna miss this trip!

Circle of Ouroborus - Eleven Fingers CD (Handmade Birds) 11€

Eleven Fingers is our CoO favorite to date, it's the strongest, most concise example of what they do, a dark and depressive sort of blackened post-punk that also manages to be catchy and anthemic. This will hit you like a great, haunting, moving post-punk record, not the culmination of a march inward by a couple of Finnish outsiders. Last copy!

Mémoires D'Automne - Cliché LP (Trinity) 14€

Vinyl release of cult Cliché tape self-produced back in 1996 by the french trio that was one of the best coldwave & goth act in the 90′s, amongst Corpus Delicti, Lucie Cries or Asylum Party. Their sound is also deeply influenced by bands like The Cure, Christian Death, Clan Of Xymox. The orginal master tape was transferred by Alain Seghir (Martin Dupont) specifically for this LP. Limited edition of 444 copies.

Belgrado - Vicious Circle 7" (La Vida Es Un Mus) 6,50€
Following an immense debut album from 2011 that turned heads for those listening to contemporary anarcho DIY punk, this single is a sample of what is to come on their upcoming second full-length. Sonically more dynamic than previous recordings, these two tracks sound busy yet solid on the rhythm section with their trademark echoplex filled guitar riffs and distant female voice, bringing to mind Skeletal Family, Brigandage or Blood And Roses. Running between goth and post punk while keeping a foot firmly in the DIY anarchist scene.

Redflesh ‎– Raw War 7'' (Video Disease) 6,50€

Debut 7" from these Copenhagen monsters and it is a ripper! Imagine Von covering GISM and recording a demo in a cardboard box. These 3 neanderthals crash and bash their way through 4 songs filled with metallic riffs, sloppy guitar solos, tribal drumming, and the grunts and howls of a man possessed. Rude!

Horror Vacui - Can You Still See Reality? 7" (Legion of the Dead) 4€

Debut 7" by this brand new italian goth-punk band. Horror Vacui are the European answer to Lost Tribe, Anasazi and Moral Hex. Two tracks of pure dark punk/death rock with a DIY attitude. Back in stock!

Altar of Flies - Female LP (Peripheral) 15€

The latest LP by Altar Of Flies! Angst ridden experimental noise, utilising tape, field-recordings and various electronic sound generators. A true nightmare of epic proportions from this enigmatic Swedish artist. Seriously uneasy listening. As Mattias Gustafsson himself stated: "this is the end. And the beginning of something new". Artwork by Thomas Ekelund. Lmtd to 250. LAST ONE.

:Of The Wand & The Moon: - Live At The Lodge Of Imploded Love 10" (Heidrunar) 16€

Six live songs recorded in darkness, furthermore this release features an exclusive and unreleased track, A Cancer Called Love recorded at The Lone Descent album sessions, starring Louise Wilk-Zerahn and Bo Rande. Limited to 500 copies 10" vinyl on black antimatter vinyl and silver foilblock. Only a very few here.

NordvargrMurkhr LP+CD (Old Europa Cafe)  34
A triumphant return after a few years of silence in this musical field. Murkhr is a multiformat release that spans over entire vinyl LP- and CD-length and is probably among the most dark journeys into sound that has been made in his studi. Imagine the deepest passages from his debut Awaken mixed with solemn orchestrations and shamanistic chants. Simple BEST Nordvargr bloody deep and dark sounds for a multiformat release that has to be awarded THE mandatory dark ambient release of 2012!

V/A - Sverige compilation LP (RTB) 14€

The final RTB release focuses entirely on new electronic sounds from the Swedish underground. From Malmö, Arkhe and Amph. From Göteborg, Feberdröm, Arv & Miljö, Implicit Ruin and Blodvite. Stockholm is here with Händer Som Vårdar and Landvarelser. The result is a 40-minute compilation with a huge variety. A great glimpse of the current stirrings up in the cold north. Comes with a 12-page A5 booklet. Last copy!
Buck Gooter - Witch Molecules LP (X-Mist) 12
Weird noise rock/throat rip duo from Harrisonburg, VA, uniting young and old, obscured purpose and odd intent. As the record crawls on, the intensity never dials down, though the approach changes; there’s synth here as well as a drum machine that sounds as if someone programmed the box to play like it was holding brushes in a jazz stance. A unique listen that may take more than a few spins to make any lasting impact. Still, I defy you to find any band that sounds like this one. For fans of Wolf Eyes and Brainbombs!

Sex Church - Somnambulist 12" (Instant Pleasure) 15€

Brand new 12" from Vancouver death rockers, who've previously released critically acclaimed records on Load, HoZac and Sweet Rot. A 3-track mood ruiner of an EP, 18 minutes of ominous guitar grind, towering rhythms, and tortured vocals. Like the Cheater Slicks covering Jesus and Mary Chain, but with hints of Christian Death and The Wipers. Comes with digital download. Recommended!

Zeus! ‎– Opera LP (Tannen) 13€

Zeus! is a drum+bass duo, born october 2010 in Italy, by Luca Cavina (Calibro 35) and Paolo Mongardi (Jennifer Gentle, Fuzz Orchestra, Ronin). Here we have their second effort from these crazy prog grinders! More chaos, more blastbeats and more facial hair to blow your brains out for good. Features killer vocals from Justin Pearson of Locust on one track too!

His Electro Blue Voice - Dead Sons 12" (Brave Mysteries) 10€

Recorded between 2009 and 2011, Dead Sons weighs in at just under 25 minutes, probably the longest outing this band has given up so far. This record is both far more dynamic and simultaneously more aggressive than anything they have ever done before.

His Electro Blue Voice - Wolf/Worm 12'' (Holidays) 10€

New 12'' single with two long songs: Wolf is a driving, monolithic creature, Worm is a noisier affair. Comes in thick cardboard sleeve. Only a few copies left here then it's gone.

Maria Minerva - Sacred & Profane Love EP 12" (100% Silk) 12€

The latest Maria’s effort hypnotizes and catapults the free audience in an atmosphere that is seen as bedroom's disco. Dreamy and amplified atmospheres from her voice that plays on delay. She’s more digital than analog, such unusual compared to recent trends. Her latest work is all about a mixed Oriental Wave Drum together with her lyrical singing. A great comeback!

Mattress - Eldorado 12" (Malt Duck) 10€An incredibly minimal, raw, and sometimes frantic record, yet it somehow creates a sense that hope can prevail even in the dire post-apocalyptic vision formed by its beats. This is definitely synth done raw – which is often times synth at its finest. Vocal styling is what makes this record unique though. The croony vocals, reminiscent of a gin guzzling lounge singer, reveal his true Vegas roots. Fav by Alex Zhang Hungtai from Dirty Beaches! Red vinyl! Last two copies!

Bizarre Uproar - Viha & Kiima DigiCD (Freak Animal) 9€
One of the leading figures among Finnish noise. Their 2011 album is culmination of the current style. 4 long tracks of amplifier torment captured in rehearsal bunker. Fierce and crude results with very natural flow of physical and concrete sound. A good dose of most violent elements of power electronics drenched to loud rusty harsh noise. Comes in beautiful DVD box!

Nuit Noire - The Gigantic Hideout CD (COTN) 8€
The return of Feeral Faerical tyranny from this skinny French dude with a truly whimsical sense of humor and knack for crafting catchy songs with downright awesome riffs. One more nighttime great opus!

Journey To Ixtlan - Journey To Ixtlan DigiCD (Aurora Borealis) 8€

An anonymous badass rock band of desert dwellers who converge infrequently to render their physical surroundings in psychotropic sound. Their heavy sound owes as much to Doom Metal as it does to Psychedelia, as guitar, bass, drums, keys and vocal chants intertwine like shamanic smoke. To listen to Journey To Ixtlan is to participate in a ritual out of time. Ace!

Cusack - Holy Wood 7" (Bitten By The Rest) 4€

Brand new single from our punk friends. If you liked their first 7-inch and their split with Laser Geyser you know what to expect: equal parts late '90s emo and hardcore energy for this explosion of frantic post-pop!

Sissy Spacek - Sepsis CD (Second Layer) 8€

A beautiful set of electro-acoustic works that have been freed from any of the patterns that can develop through group improvisation. These tracks are at once disorientating and alien, yet constantly engaging.

Two Bit Dezperados - s/t LP (Jeetkune) 10€

Female-fronted, Portuguese-sung, Os Mutantes-fueled, tropicalia-inspired, exotic and erotic psychedelic garage from Sardinia & Brazil. Sit back, relax, get high on weed. Last copy!        The Goodnight Loving - Arcobaleno 12'' (Wild Honey) 9€

One-sided 12” vinyl with really cool artwork silk-screened on the B side. Five new songs more chill than previous ones. A great EP!

Druid PerfumeDon't Eat Em, They're Poison 7'' (X!) 4€

More manic weirdness! "Don't Eat 'Em They're Poison" is a swampy stuttering scuzz journey backed with the proper B-side cut. Last copy!
